As the Principal of Taney Parish Primary School I am delighted to welcome you to our website, which will hopefully give you an insight into the work and activities of our school, as well as our organisational policies and some practical information about daily school life.

Taney Parish Primary School is the parish school of the Church of Ireland Parish of Christ Church Taney (http://taneyparish.ie) and has a long history of providing an excellent education in the parish since our foundation in 1792.  We currently teach 390 children from a wide variety of nationalities and pride ourselves on offering the broadest of opportunities for our pupils, from the arts to sport and most importantly in supporting each child to reach their full academic potential.

To complement our rich and varied curriculum the children take part in a range of sporting events, cultural tours, church services and charity work to develop their confidence, resilience and sense of responsibility for others.

There are two classrooms of children at each class level from Junior Infants to 6th Class and you will find examples of their wonderful work at the dedicated class pages.  We hope you will find this website to be a useful resource.
