Irish Museuem of Literacy
Sixth Class took the Luas to go on a tour of the Irish Museum of Literature where we learned about James Joyce and his famous literary works. We also did a creative writing workshop that the children really enjoyed. A great day out!

Final Mile Fun at Kilbogget Park!
Sixth Class had a brilliant morning taking part in the Final Mile Event  as part of the Daily Mile Challenge! The children loved running on the athletics track and trying out exciting track and field activities with Athletics Ireland. A fantastic way to finish the month’s challenge. Well done, everyone!

Junior Infants visit Airfield
Both Mrs Duffy's and Ms Leahy's class had a lovely morning in Airfield Farm last week. We saw the hens and met a farm helper who told us lots of information about them - they have no teeth, they swallow stones, the stones help to make their eggshells and their eyes are at the sides of their heads!!! We also saw the pigs and donkeys. Finally we got to see the Jersey cows being milked. We really had a lovely time!

Designers, Builders and Mathematicians!
Ms Gillanders’s 4th Class have been using our Mathematics brain to create our very own board games! Working in pairs, the children were given a range of maths manipulatives – from dominoes and 2D shapes to counters and popsicle sticks - and challenged to design a fun, original game. The results were wonderfully creative, imaginative, and showed great teamwork and problem-solving skills. Their next challenge will be to put their games to the test and see if others can follo
