Junior infants have come to the end of their first year in big school. They have learnt to read and write, made many new friends and completed a great year’s work. It's STEM Week in Taney and 6th Class have been looking at circuits. We used the snap circuits to make light bulbs light up, fans spin and even made speakers make noise!

We were so honoured and excited to welcome Liz Pichon to our school on Thursday. Liz is the author of the brilliant series of Tom Gates books and the first one was published 15 years ago. 3 rd – 6 th classes took part in a fabulous workshop where we heard how Liz comes up with her story ideas and we learned how to draw her characters.
