Designers, Builders and Mathematicians!

Ms Gillanders’s 4th Class have been using our Mathematics brain to create our very own board games! Working in pairs, the children were given a range of maths manipulatives – from dominoes and 2D shapes to counters and popsicle sticks - and challenged to design a fun, original game.

The results were wonderfully creative, imaginative, and showed great teamwork and problem-solving skills. Their next challenge will be to put their games to the test and see if others can follow the instructions, they’ve written!
