Junior Infants visit Airfield

Both Mrs Duffy's and Ms Leahy's class had a lovely morning in Airfield Farm last week.  We saw the hens and met a farm helper who told us lots of information about them - they have no teeth, they swallow stones, the stones help to make their eggshells and their eyes are at the sides of their heads!!!

We also saw the pigs and donkeys. Finally we got to see the Jersey cows being milked. We really had a lovely time!
