Student Council

In Ms Hanbidge’s class we had great fun learning about the function of government and the election process.

The children worked on their public speaking skills, created manifestos and wrote excellent speeches. We put all this to use as we held our own in class election for our Student Council Representative.

Well done to all the candidates who presented and spoke so well in front of their classmates! I was blown away by their confidence and persuasive language. After a secret ballot, which was monitored by in-class officials, our class rep was elected on to the Student Council.
