During this week’s TAP programme and class activities we focused on our creatures, the development of the story and body movement, using their brains and bodies to create shapes and by thinking quickly to problem solve. The children were introduced to different types of music and moved their bodies in response to the music. They then explored making shapes come to life using light and shadows!
In Art class they cut out their creatures and gave them structure using recycled materials and card – even old Word Study words were used! The children had to then decide if their creature belonged in the sea, land or air/space and were beginning to think of sounds their creature would make.
